Biography
Played for Waterford premier league side Carrick United before signing for Shane Keegan’s Wexford Youths. Spent two seasons there where he won the First Division title in 2015. Lee reunited with Keegan and joined Galway United ahead of the 2017 season where he played every minute of every game before signing for Rovers in the Summer 2017 transfer window.
Became a fans’ favourite almost immediately with his impressive commanding performances at centre back and won the club’s POTY in 2018. Many Hoops fans were concerned when news came through that Lee was training with Hull City in the winter of 2019/20, but were very happy when he signed a new three-year contract ahead of the 2020 season.
