Biography

Wexford born Greg began his League of Ireland career with UCD in 2006, making his senior debut the following year. Along with Ronan Finn he was part of the Students side that won the 2009 First Division. He signed for Sporting Fingal in January 2011 but the club folded shortly thereafter and he spent the year at Dundalk.

Greg established himself as one of the best midfielders in the country in his four seasons at St Patrick’s Athletic as League and FAI Cup success came to Inchicore. His 25-yard strike against Sligo helped the Saints on their way to claim the 2013 title, with a man-of-the-match performance in the Cup final win a year later.

He then joined Cork City, winning two FAI Cups and a league medal in his time down south. Greg was a Player of the Year nominee in his first season but he was resigned to the bench for much of last year’s campaign.
