We are pleased to confirm our Women’s Coaching structure ahead of the 2025 season.
Collie O’Neill will lead our Women’s First Team, Wayne Ashbrook will lead our Women’s U19s while Keith Coffey will lead our Women’s U17s.
Collie O’Neill said: ”Our coaching management setup is stronger than ever, with Keith continuing in his role with our U17 team and Wayne leading our U19 team.
Their success isn’t measured by the number of trophies they win, but by the number of players they develop for senior football. Last season, we saw several players step up from the academy, and this season, even more are set to make their mark. This is a testament to the fantastic job Keith and Wayne have done so far.
For me, it is always a humbling and honouring experience to be given the opportunity to manage at Shamrock Rovers. It’s something that will never be taken for granted, and I’m really looking forward to the season ahead.”
Wayne Ashbrook said: ”I am delighted to be leading our WU19s squad for the upcoming season. We’ve built some excellent foundations over the last number of years & look to continue that this season.
We’ve seen numerous players from last season across our 17’s & 19’s move into first team environments now which is testament to the work of the academy coaching staff.
We’ve a young, talented and exciting group this year. Players have brought a lot of energy, enthusiasm and quality in their work and myself and the staff are looking forward to working with them all this season.”
Keith Coffey said: ”I am delighted to lead our WU17s group into the 2025 season. Last season marked a monumental season for the group winning the league and cup double as well as countless international appearances for players and senior involvement.
The aim this year is to build on the standards the group set for themselves last season and to be better again. We have a younger group this year which is exciting for myself and Terry; we can’t wait to help them take the next step on their journey”
