Marking 125 years of Shamrock Rovers Football Club, 15 Years in Tallaght, and 30 years of TU Dublin’s BA in Media Production & Digital Arts!

SRFC, TU Dublin School of Media and South Dublin County Council would like to invite you to join us, on Saturday December 7th in the 1899 Suite, Tallaght Stadium to celebrate the club’s history and community, and to showcase the Shamrock Rovers in the Community Project, based at TU Dublin.

The event will feature speakers from club administration, players past and present, and club historians, and will showcase research insights from the Shamrock Rovers in the Community Project, centering on Rovers fans and volunteers.

The project, details of which are at https://www.shamrockrovers.ie/2024/09/04/shamrock-rovers-in-the-community-project-2024/, is the outcome of partnership between SRFC and researchers in the School of Media on TU Dublin’s Tallaght Campus, and has welcomed the support of SDCC at the Tallaght Stadium.

The morning’s schedule will showcase a photographic exhibition, by Dr. Glenn Doyle, featuring SRFC match-day volunteers, as well as media-based content produced by Media Production & Digital Arts students, focusing on the club and its related activities.

This is a ticketed event for capacity control reasons, but the tickets are free!
