The Hoops announce four more Women’s Premier Division squad signings in Jess Gargan, Shauna Fox, Amanda Budden and Lauren Kelly.
The four vastly experienced players join the Hoops from Shelbourne and Peamount United.
Speaking on her arrival at Rovers, Jess Gargan said “I am delighted to be joining Shamrock Rovers football club. It’s an exciting time for the club and the league, and I’m looking forward to getting started.”
Shauna Fox said, “I’m delighted to join Rovers, I’m excited to get started in the new year and looking forward to meeting up with all the girls and getting a good pre-season done in preparation for a big year.”
Amanda Budden said, “I’m excited to meet the girls for pre-season and I’m looking forward to getting ready for the season ahead.”
Lauren Kelly, who arrives at the Hoops from Peamount Utd said “I am delighted to sign for Shamrock Rovers and to be part of such a big club for the season ahead. I’m really excited about the new challenge and to see what we can achieve going forward.”
First team manager Collie O’Neill said, “I am delighted to have all 4 girls on board, they are 4 of the most experienced players in the country. They will bring this fantastic experience to the group and help set standards and create a positive culture around the squad.”
Head of Women’s football Jason Carey is also extremely pleased to have the 4 players in the new squad, saying “these players are going to be brilliant for us, they have great experience and drive which will help us as we get ready for the new season.”
