We have the latest views and team news from Hoops’ head coach Stephen Bradley in advance of Friday’s big game at Tallaght Stadium v’s Dundalk.
“We’ve got ourselves in a great position. We’re up fighting for the league and when you’re doing that the second part of the season always bring big games and Friday is no different. It’s the most points tally we’ve had in a long time and we’re fighting for a league so every game is going to be important now and we need to go and drive it home.
It’ll be a tough game against Dundalk but we’re playing well and we’re really looking forward to it. When you get yourself up in the position we have, vying for a league, these are the sort of games you want and where you want to be as a club. That’s what we have now until the end of the season. Aaron McEneff is still out. Joey O’Brien didn’t recover after the Derry game and it would have been too big a risk to play him against Bohs but he’s OK.
It’s good to get Gary O’Neill and Neil Farrugia in. UCD were really good to deal with so that they could get in early and get used to how we train and get used to the group. They can’t play yet but they’re two really good additions for us. I’ve said from the start that if players become available who we feel fits us and will improve us then we’ll do it. That’ll be the case going forward, we’re always on the lookout.”
