Luca Gratzer


Currently in his second year with Rovers’ Under 19s having signed from Malahide United. Last year was a big year for Luca as he competed with the more established Michael Kelly for the number one spot. He came through it well though.

Mikey Quinn


Joined Shamrock Rovers for the 2015 short season. Mikey previously played for Crumlin United at intermediate level. Represented the Leinster Senior League in the Oscar Traynor competition at age 16. Holder of League, Charlie Cahill Cup and Intermediate Cup winners medals.

Nathan Benson

Full back

Nathan joined Shamrock Rovers last year after a six-year spell at Crumlin United. He has three Republic of Ireland underage caps to his credit. Established himself as a reliable right full last season. Captained the Hoops’ Under 19s to a place in the league semi-finals.

Jamie Wilson

Full back

Another of the new signings for the 2015 season. Jamie previously played for St. Kevin’s, Shelbourne and Cherry Orchard. Won an All-Ireland Cup with the OrchardWon league honours with St. Kevin’s Boys. Played for the Irish U17s in a friendly against Rovers’ U19s.

Darragh Gibbons

Centre half

A very successful former Templeogue United player who won 7 DDSL premier titles along with 3 All Irelands. Also won Kennedy Cup honours in 2012. Missed some of last season through injury but still managed to play enough to show his strengths as a central defender.

Shane Hanney

Centre half/Midfielder

Versatile midfielder/defender who is currently an Irish U17 international.  Formerly with Templeogue United where he won three DDSL Premier and two All-Ireland winner's medals. Also a member of the DDSL Kennedy cup winning team in 2012. Shane represented Ireland at the 2015 UEFA Under 17 European Championship Finals in Bulgaria.

Curtis Murphy

Full back

Left full who captained St. Patrick’s Athletic to the 2014/15 FAI Under 19 League title. Formerly with Crumlin United and Shelbourne. Curtis had thought his time in the Under 19 had come to an end but the shortened 2015 season has given him an unexpected opportunity to shine again.

Stephen Kelly

Centre half

Stephen joined Shamrock Rovers in January 2015 and instantly established himself at the heart of the back four. A centre half, he previously played for Crumlin United and for Bohemians’ Under 19s.

Dean Casey

Full back/Midfielder

Previously played for Hartstown and for one season for St. Kevin’s Boys Under 18s. Beginning in 2009, Dean enjoyed a prolonged stint on the NDSL Academy winning the Celtic Cup in 2010, Kennedy Cup and Coca-Cola Cup in 2011. He has DDSL, AUL and Leinster Youths squad honours to his name. He was part of the Ireland Home-Based squad this year for the game against Wales.

Dean Kivlehan


Formerly with Shamrock Rovers, Lucan United and Templeogue. Has six league winners’ medals from his time at Templeogue. Was on the Emerging Talent Programme in 2013 and played against Manchester United, Manchester City, Ajax and scored a hat-trick against the Arsenal Academy.

Ronald Ntumba


Previous clubs: Naas (from U8 to U9), Cherry Orchard from (U10 to U17) and half a season with Lucan United Under 17s. With Cherry Orchard Ronald won two All-Ireland Cups and two League Cups. Participated at the Danone Nations Cup.

James Doona


Previous clubs: Lourdes Celtic, Crumlin, Stella Maris and St. Pat’s. Won Jimmy Flood Cup honours and represented the Republic of Ireland at U16 and U17 and Leinster Youths (against the Hessian F.A.). Also won All-Ireland Inter-League honours with the DDSL. Runners-up honours in the PFAI Cup.

Shane Boyle


Joined the Hoops’ Under 19s last year from Belvedere. Made his competitive debut when he came on a sub against Cork City at the AUL. Shane proved to be a competitive and skilful powerhouse in the middle of the park. Was voted by his teammates as the SRFC U19 Player of the Year.

Trevor Clarke


Former Crumlin United, St. Kevin’s Boys and more recently Middlesbrough player who joined Rovers in late September. Trevor has represented the Republic of Ireland at Under 16, Under 17 and Under 19 level. His previous competitive game prior to joining the Hoops was against Italy when he suffered a broken leg.

Paul McMahon


Previous club St. Kevin’s. Paul is an all-action midfield player with lots of ability. A tough tackling player with bundles of energy. Currently on the FAI/FAS Clondalkin course.

Eoghan Morgan


Captained Bohs from U8 to U15s before moving on to St. Kevin’s. Eoghan was on the Kennedy Cup squad that won the tournament in 2012. Represented Ireland at U15 level. Won the treble with St. Kevin’s in 2014. Won the league and LFA Youths Cup in 2015. Captained the Leinster squad against the Hessian League in Germany in 2015 and won All Ireland Inter League honours with the DDSL.

Eoin Stokes


Former Templeogue United player who won league honours at U11, U14 and U15 age groups. Also won All-Ireland honours at U11 and 14 level. Eoin was in the Ireland squad that qualified for the UEFA Under 17 Championship Finals in Bulgaria in 2015.

Ben Hanrahan


Son of former LOI player Peter Hanrahan and a nephew of Joe. Ben joined the Hoops last year after three years at Home Farm. Played for Lakelands FC from the age of 6 to 12. He had a very successful season in 2014/15 with Rovers proving to be a regular goalscorer and finished just one goal behind top goalscorer Sean Boyd.

Sean Boyd


Joined Shamrock Rovers last season and very quickly established himself as a regular goalscorer. Finished the season as Rovers’ U19s top goalscorer. During the summer Sean got the opportunity to become involved in the first team squad and was on the bench for the game away to Galway. Sean played for Rivervalley Rangers up to 11 years of age before moving to Malahide for whom he played for four years.
