What is it?

Rovers Rewards is a customer loyalty scheme from Shamrock Rovers F.C. that offers your business the opportunity to tap into our loyal, dedicated and ever-growing fan-base.

With over 120,000 admissions to our games at Tallaght Stadium in 2011 we are clearly Ireland’s No.1 supported club and a big draw in the Tallaght area (and beyond). We have sales of over 2,500 season tickets in 2012 have a membership base of over 400 people. In addition to our schoolboy, junior and senior teams we also have up to 250 players wearing the colours of Shamrock Rovers. It is this audience that we present to you. The scheme is intended to provide a win-win for both commercial partner and Rovers’ fans. Their loyalty to your business is acknowledged by an incentive that is available only as part of the Rovers Rewards scheme.

How does it work?

The scheme involves participating companies offering a year round discount to Shamrock Rovers’ fans (upon presentation of their season ticket). The scheme will have a number of regular offers from our commercial partners which will be unique to Rovers’ fans covering everything from restaurants, taxis, accountants, architects, trades-people, activity centres, retail and so on.

Rovers Rewards will have a dedicated section on our website and all offers will be listed there. With 10,000 hits per day that can generate a lot of interest very quickly. We can also set up a link to your website from shamrockrovers.ie to offer even greater customer interaction.

Every 3 months participating companies can offer a “special once off deal” that will be circulated to all our members and season ticket holders via email (database of circa 3,000 people), on our website www.shamrockrovers.ie, on our facebook page www.facebook.com/shamrockrovers that has over 29,000 ‘likes’, on twitter, and in our award winning match-day programme that sells over 25,000 each season.

All participants will receive a window sticker for their business premises to identify them as a Rovers Rewards Partner, this will encourage our fans to buy with you.

How much does it cost?

The cost to be involved in Rovers Rewards is €500 per annum. We are confident that, with the right set of offers, you will see your return on this investment very quickly indeed. The branding and association value of your involvement with the club is worth money in itself.
